TMNT-Turtle Is Back

This is a great movie. The visuals are great, the action is riveting, and the plot actually isn’t that bad. However, one major downfall is the rather short length of the movie. As much fun as it is, it could have lasted longer. The visuals, like I said, are simply stupendous. There is a lot of details and it looks great. The movie is pretty violent; this isn’t a little kid’s movie. However, the action is well done and keeps you awake. In this movie, the turtles have grown apart as a family ever since Leonardo has left for an extended personal training mission. His absence makes Raphael jealous and angry. Then, when an ancient immortal warlord starts to collect monsters from another dimension to take over the world, the brothers must forget their differences to defeat this new threat.
With all the work that went into the movie and its visuals, you’d think there would be some length to the film. But, sadly, the movie ticks off at just under an hour and a half. I couldn’t help thinking “It’s over?” Maybe it just goes to show that movies really do go by faster when there is a lot of fun.The movie rocks and I recommend it to anyone who likes action. This is definitely a guy film, and the trailers and TV commercials make this movie look to cheesy. Go see it now!
