The Invisible

I watched this movie a few days back, and really liked it. Certainly not the best movie ever made…but really good in its own sense. Checking out the rating of this movie I was shocked to find it had such a low rating!!!! Some of the reviews were so bad that I doubted Whether they had seen the same movie or not!!! One of my friends’ saw this movie when it was released and said it was so bad….Thats why I took so long to watch it. I guess why nobody really liked this movie was due to the reason that they didn’t understand what it tried to say. It had one solid message in it and that was – THE NEED TO UNDERSTAND ONE PERSON!!!! The whole story revolved around this sole message. And That itself was really Great!!! They tried to show these not through dislodges, but through different scenes, the characters and their behavior. Some scenes in this movie was really great and outstanding. While there was a Couple of scenes that were a bit dragging or not fitting the place.Technically also it was good… The Part were the movie really fails is in the acting department. The performance of both the leading characters (Justin Chatwin and the heroine) were not up to the mark. That was indeed a big drawback. While Marcia Gay Harden(as Diane Powell) in the role as the mother of Nick was simply Awesome. Pity, she did not have much screen time, but whatever she had, she did brilliantly. The movie could have been better if they took care of these factors. But overall its a good movie with a really nice ending. In fact I liked it better that Sixth Sense. Conclusion – Don’t watch the movie With high expectations. Also try to get along with the story, then you will like it.
