The Three Musketeers
The traditional the classical work written by French famous writer Alexander Dumas, père was made into a good movie in 1993. In the movie, the director followed the Alexander’s style, and perfectly expressed the author’s idea of the yong fellows who were brave and passionate to fight for a country and the king. It told a story like this.
The three best of the disbanded Musketeers – Athos, Porthos, and Aramis – joined by a young hotheaded would-be-Musketeer, D’Artagnan, made great effort stop the Cardinal Richelieu’s evil plot: to form an alliance with enemy England by way of the mysterious Milady. Rochefort, the Cardinal’s right-hand man, announced the official disbanding of the King’s Musketeers. Three, however, refused to throw down their swords – Athos the fighter and drinker, Porthos the pirate and lover, and Aramis the priest and poet as well as a D’Artagnan who was a brave and intelligent young man uncovered the Cardinal’s plans, and the four set out on a mission to protect King and Country. They fought against the dirty tricks set by Milady and almost lost their lives. But finally they made it, and completed their mission wonderfully.
